This month has flown by and we find ourselves writing a combination Thanksgiving and November Newsletter to get everyone caught up!
Since the last newsletter, we've continued our content creation, releasing four new videos, including a YouTube short that got +1k views in less than 24 hours!
As the official farmers' market season came to a close, we transitioned into Autumn Markets with the 2nd Annual Fall Vendor Fest Series at Richardson Farms, and a local event at Whispering Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary!
Cody has been hard at work up front in the market gardens, buttoning everything up for the winter season and making progress on the new caterpillar tunnel, which you can in the brief video seen below. Great job, Cody!
The tunnel was constructed in time for the low temperatures that accompanied the first snow of the year on the homestead - Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Market growers like Cody across the country are using caterpillar tunnels to plant earlier in the Spring, extend the harvest season into Winter, and more.

Last Saturday, the holiday market season began with the Thanksgiving Farmers Market, at Boyert's Greenhouse and Farm, from 9am - 1pm.
We are grateful to the Boyert family for the invitation the the market and very grateful for all the new connections we made with both vendors and customers.
One special story that we'd like to share with you involves a big WHY we do what we do. At the market last weekend...a woman stopped by to sample our sauerkraut - to see if it was as good as what she remembers from childhood.
She decided to sample our Caraway Kraut - as it's the product that is as close to the old country as possible. Her approach to eating the product was methodical. She took it slowly and smelled it...inhaling deeply. It began.
When she took a bite, she closed her eyes, savoring the flavor of the Caraway sauerkraut...only to pause for a moment and say: "Oh, yes..."
Upon opening her eyes, she became misty-eyed, speaking fondly of the memories of her grandmother and her neighbor and the food they used to eat.
When she told us about that experience, it suddenly became very dusty inside the greenhouse at Boyerts where the Thanksgiving Farmers Market was held.
It brings us great joy to bring these experiences to our customers...and to be able to share them with you. This, my friends - is why we do what we do.
We love what we do and are proud to share it with you.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we are grateful for so much.
We'd like to extend a big "THANK YOU" to all the markets we've attended this year, the stores who are carrying our products, but most of all - to YOU.
If it wasn't for you and all of the other customers supporting us throughout the years, none of this would be possible. We appreciate you so very much and wish you and your family the best this Thanksgiving holiday.
In a show of support for YOUR support, we are offering a BLACK FRIDAY sales event on November 24-25 where you SAVE 30% at checkout with the code:
